Alcohol Detox

You're at the point where you want to do something about your drinking. You can search the internet and flick through the yellow pages for days on end without finding the right help.

If alcohol has become the bane of your life, it can seem that there’s hundreds of programmes all claiming to help you. Choosing the right one can be very difficult.

Archangel Home Detox Ltd provides a safe, discreet and comfortable detox in the privacy of your own home. We offer a total abstinence programme. There’s no need to travel to distant get-aways to be confined to their grounds, and no need for anyone else to know about it.

Imagine how different an alcohol-free life would be? You'd have peace in your life, clarity of mind, and be more motivated.

Have you tried detoxing before?

It can be incredibly difficult to give up alcohol when drinking has become a part of your life. You've may have  tried to go 'cold turkey', but with little or no success. Perhaps you've tried a pharmaceutical detox and it didn't work; this may be due to you not having a structured plan and support team.

You may have experienced withdrawal symptoms such as:

Excessive sweating

Shakiness of your hands

Irritability and restlessness

General feeling of anxiety

Difficulty sleeping at night

Nausea vomiting

Loss of appetite

The only way at the time for you to stop these was to start drinking again.

The withdrawal you experience happens because your body has become accustomed to the presence of alcohol – so much so that it starts to depend on it. This dependence means that when the blood alcohol level falls, your body complains in the form of withdrawal symptoms.

Our supervised assisted home detox will help you to stop drinnking more safely and comfortably and allow you to get on with your life.

The Home Detox process

An Archangel addiction nurse visits you at your home to establish if you're suitable for detox.

You'll then meet the Doctor who'll assess you and prescribe the medication you'll need.

Our Archangel addiction nurse will then monitor the detox.

Our counsellors will then spend time with you.

The length of the programme depends on your individual treatment plan, after which your support systems will be in place.

To make our service cost effective, a friend or family member should be present. There are solutions available should you wish to undertake your detox alone.

How to take the first step away from alcohol

You've actually taken the first step by simply searching on the internet for help.

What you do now is all up to you; you can surf away to another web site, shut down the computer and put it on the back-burner again – or you can take the next step towards regaining control of your life.
